Fortunately, as we are a successful women empowerment NGO in Ahmedabad, we have inspired many families to take their children to our schools. Though convincing the poor and illiterate parents to send their children to school is a daunting task, we find it a great victory to motivate many of them to bring them under the light instead of becoming child labourers.

Shaksham Foundation aims to eradicate child labors from not only Gujarat but also India we right to education is a common right that every individual should have. Thousands of people are living under the poverty level and sleeping under the open sky with empty stomachs. For them, managing daily sustainability is the highest goal.

Fortunately, some parents are hopeful in building their children’s future by allowing them to get educated by enrolling in our programs. We provide scholarships to students scoring 80% and above in their board exams. After proper counselling, we provide career guidance and even provide funds for their higher studies.

At present, our teachers and fellow members are working at Gyaspur, Vatva, and Sabarmati in Ahmedabad and with proper funds and support; we aim to grow bigger to educate these children.
